Sherwin-Williams is one of the largest paint manufacturers in the world, with operations in over 120 countries. They provide paints, coatings, floorcoverings, and related products to professional, industrial, commercial, and retail customers primarily in North and South America and Europe.
A relatively new, 44,000 square foot Sherwin Williams paint plant was opened in Orlando, FL, employing over 50 people.
THE PROBLEMDue to thick walls and complex spaces, many people inside the plant could not get any cell signal. Calls had to be taken outside, and often were missed. Employees were missing important business calls, and all-around frustration was common.
Chineye Oparaocha, a plant employee, did a deep dive into fixing weak signal. He contacted Bolton Install Pros.
The SolutionChineye Oparaocha wanted to do a DIY install. Installing your own signal booster can put many people off, especially if there is no after-sales support.
The Bolton Install Pro team helped Sherwin Williams choose the correct booster set for their needs, and the best way to install it. From design to installation to after sales support, Bolton Install Pros was there to make sure that everything went perfectly. They recommended a WilsonPro 1100 signal booster (see NOTE below) to provide strong, stable signal.
The WisonPro 1100 is a power booster designed for medium to large spaces, such as homes, medical offices, commercial buildings, and retail spaces up to 35,000. For this reason, multiple boosters were needed to cover the 44,000 sq ft plant.
“With the right set of tools and materials, signal boosters and cabling are very easy to install for anyone who is a DIY,” Oparaocha said. “Most importantly, the design analysis is necessary to evaluate the right sized booster to ensure proper coverage. Another key advantage to the booster is the ability to connect multiple antennas to a single booster to extend coverage as needed.”
The ResultsThe Sherwin Williams plant went from being one big dead zone to being flooded with good, strong signal. With help from Bolton Install Pros, installation was simple. The Bolton Install Pro team answered all the questions Mr. Oparaocha had and guided him through the entire process.
No longer do employees have to rush outside whenever their phones ring, or risk missing the call altogether. Business is not lost, and clients aren’t frustrated with not being able to get through.
“I'm excited to have contacted Signal Boosters,” said Mr. Oparaocha. “Their products and solutions solved our issues and I strongly recommend them to anyone considering using them.”
