Types of Cel-Fi QUATRA Systems

Cel-Fi QUATRA 4000c

The QUATRA 4000c covers three major carriers – Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile in the US; Rogers, Bell, and Telus in Canada – and can add a private CBRS network to its coverage.

The QUATRA EVO is a lower-cost solution capable of boosting across one or two carriers only.

How a Cel-Fi QUATRA System Works

Nextivity Cel-Fi QUATRA systems are made up of a primary Network Unit (NU) with the ability to utilize up to six Coverage Units (CUs). Each CU can support up to twelve indoor antennas. A full NU/CU buildout can cover up to 75,000 sq ft, even in weak signal areas.
Network Units can be extended via Fiber Hubs up to a mile away at significantly less cost than installing a separate NU. These systems will self-organize and are capable of dramatically increasing total coverage, even in multiple buildings.

Wireless Features Supported by Cel-Fi QUATRA Systems

  • HSPA+
  • LTE with MIMO in supported networks
  • Low-to-mid band 5G
  • FDD / TDD connectivity
  • CBRS bands
  • HARMONY Private Networking Service
  • Nextivity WAVE Portal for Remote Monitoring
  • Up to 100 DB of system gain in each band simultaneously
  • Coexistence with Wi-Fi, femtocells and cellular devices
  • Advanced digital echo cancellation
  • Channel select filtering
  • Automatic gain control based on fast real-time echo cancellation

Remote Monitoring using Nextivity WAVE Portal

Once commissioned, Cel-Fi QUATRA systems can be tracked effortlessly using the web-based Cel-Fi WAVE Portal.

The WAVE Portal offers carrier-grade security and is accessible from any web browser or device. Users can organize their deployments, commission new systems, view real-time system performance, adjust alarm policies and notification settings, update software, manage users, and much more. Used in conjunction with the WAVE PRO app and COMPASS handheld scanner, the Portal enables site surveys for cellular and public safety signal levels.

Bolton Install Pro Nextivity Installers will configure the WAVE Portal app to monitor your system to your exact specifications.

Remote Monitoring using Nextivity WAVE Portal

CBRS via HARMONY Private Networking Service

CBRS via HARMONY Private Networking Service

Citizen Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) is a 150 MHz frequency band from 3550 MHz to 3700 MHz in the United States. Connecting a small cell to a QUATRA system and activating it via the HARMONY Private Networking service allows a CBRS private cellular network to be generated anywhere QUATRA coverage is present via a QUATRA 4000c system.

These can be added by our Bolton Install Pro Nextivity installer team either as part of an initial QUATRA integration or retrofitted to any existing QUATRA 4000c system.

Nextivity Cel-Fi SHIELD Series

The Nextivity SHIELD series are Public Safety and ERRCS solutions. First responders, police, and firefighters rely on open communication on these channels. Many jurisdictions require buildings to have a certain amount of coverage (varying by district) before a Certificate of Occupancy is issued.

Bolton Install Pro certified Nextivity Cel-Fi Installers can install any Nextivity SHIELD Public Safety BDA and ensure proper coverage.
