Cel-Fi QUATRA 4000c Hybrid DAS
Fremont Bank expressed their need for a solution that would:
- Deliver strong, multi-carrier coverage throughout all 6 floors,
- Maintain the building's aesthetic integrity,
- Require minimal structural modifications to preserve design elements.
A thorough site survey was conducted to measure signal strength and identify the best installation approach. The system best equipped to meet the bank's full-coverage goals while remaining low-profile was the Cel-Fi QUATRA 4000c by Nextivity. Its flexible Hybrid DAS architecture and incredible gain up to 100 dB allow for robust multi-story coverage for all desired carriers.
Deployment Highlights:
Outdoor Antennas: Three directional donor antennas were deployed on the roof, each dedicated to a specific carrier.
Signal Booster System: The QUATRA Network Unit, responsible for amplifying incoming signals, was installed in the server room. An inconspicuous QUATRA Coverage Unit was strategically placed on each floor to distribute amplified signals across all areas.
Cabling: Using ethernet cables instead of traditional coax minimized signal loss, ensuring the strongest signal transmission.
Due to the bank's unique wood ceiling tiles and accent designs, running cables and mounting equipment required careful planning and execution. To avoid disrupting daily operations and maintain the building's aesthetic integrity, installation was performed after regular business hours.
